What To Consider If  Your Thyroid Slow

Usually when your thyroid slows down your doctor will want to put you on
medication.  While you can take thyroid replacement, wouldn't it be better to find
the cause of the lower function and prevent it?

The problem of having a poorly functioning thyroid is that it may cause weight gain,
you may feel fatigued and it may, in extreme cases, lead to death..

Inflammation of the thyroid gland is a common cause of thyroid disease. That way
you won't be dependent on an external source of hormone to stay alive.

Scientists have known for years that mercury toxicity can damage your hormone
glands.  Until recently there just wasn't quantifiable proof.  New research sheds light
on the suspected evidence.

In the study, researchers tested 39 patients who had amalgam, (mercury
based)fillings. with a MELISA allergy test. MELISA is a test for sensitivity to metals.

The researchers found that 27 of the patients had high levels of measurable allergy.
They removed the amalgam fillings from 15, and the others retained thier amalgam
fillings. The researchers evaluated the antibodies the thyroid glands of all 27
aparticipants.

As suspected,  results showed that removing the mercury led to a drop in the
destructive antibodies.

Mercury toxicity has been a major concern for years and it is becoming clear that it
can cause thyroid disease in many people. Mercury can attach to thyroid proteins
and derange them. The natural response is for your immune system to have your
white blood cells attack the proteins as they would a foreign substance. The result
is the slow destruction of your thyroid gland.

If you have any type of thyroid problem, consider a
MELISA test for inorganic
mercury hypersensitivity. You can call 800-650-7850 for more information or visit
www.melisa.org on the web.

If positive, please consider getting rid of your amalgams as quickly as possible.
